CAPA-U is a Success

The 5th Annual
Connecticut Authors & Publishers University
a Great Success!

Keynote speaker Wally Lamb cha
rmed the crowd with his tales of growing up in Eastern Connecticut. It was easy to see why his books have been so successful.

The Agents were wonderful giving advice that was sometimes funny, sometimes tough but always valuable. Those who got a chance to meet one-on-one with them learned from the best.

Wally Lamb gets a chance to meet with CAPA
members authors Jerry Labriola and Patricia d'Ascoli and editor Roberta Buland.

Richard Moriarty, CAPA-U chairman and his wife Peggy who volunteered for the event meet with Ursula McCafferty who served as timekeeper making sure that everyone had a chance to meet with the agents

NYT bestselling author Marie Bostwick who spoke on Fiction with her agent Jill Grosjean who was one of the agents meeting with prospective authors.

Agent Gina Panettieri of the Talcott Notch Literary Agency teaching a workshop on how to work with an agent.
